To bad as it put added expense and hardship on many contestants. Seemed like on Sunday every time we got in the lanes for the first round it started raining.
My first time to meet Marty Thacker and crew. They are great people and I really enjoyed visiting with them. Felt really bad for them as they made the long trek to Texas and not only did the weather turn cooler but got rained out. The new date for running the race is July the 1st. Sorry you want be able to come back Marty but you have your priorities right.
The big news at this race was a seat change in the Conway car. Our best wishes for Lee Callaway the new driver for Tom. Driving an a-fuel car should be a cake walk for Lee, just point it and stab it!
