Running @ 355 10-71 blown sbc in a RED. 10:3 static compression runs 6:80's with 27 psi boost on alky. Block is GM high nickel O-ringed with centre steel splayed mains, King forged crank and ARP's all around. 3.49 stroke & 4.030 bore. Not worried about crank & rods. How close to edge of destruction am I with this block?..plugs are happy and no bearing pounding. Shifting and clearing traps @ 7900 rpm. Should I change to a Motown or Little M?
    Thanks ITA

    Caps

How much are the main caps moving around on the block? Ours you could see them moving around just a little with a stock block and stock caps. If so, time to change blocks.
