Roots set back plate

    I'm runnning a 500ci chevy blown big block 4.25" stroke and 4.310" bore,edelbrock 375 cfm heads 2.30" in and 1.88" ex valves.On top a 8/71 retro roots blower and wanted to install a 2.25" set back plate wich plaese is the best opening in the plate front,center or rear and what result is it given to the engine:D?

    Please rewrite your question, its not clear what you are asking. With a 2.25" setback, the adaptor plate opening hole must be open where the blower outlet is. Maybe that answers your question???
