Nobel Biocare Racing Team Looking Forward to Rest Before Final Run

Driver Roger Bateman and the Nobel Biocare Top Alcohol Funny Car Team are looking forward to having this weekend off to prepare for the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec in Dallas, Texas next weekend. The Texas Motorplex, an all-concrete race track built in the mid-80’s by former racer Billy Meyer is a great chance for the team to show off what they are capable of. The weather can create daunting conditions at the track when temperatures are warm during the day and cool at night; this can make crew chiefs throw fits when it comes to tuning.

Crew Chief Ken Murray has a vast knowledge of the Alcohol racing motor and with the help of others on the crew can hopefully provide some magic for the quirky Calgarian, a.k.a. Roger on the race track. Team owner Brian Friesen has become a great cheerleader for the team and will continue to do so in the closing days of this season. After a non-qualifying effort in Earville, Iowa last weekend the team has a positive attitude going into Dallas and they will persevere.
