    Just saw on NHRA.com that Don Gay, Sr., passed away. His son Don Jr competed for several years in TAFC before moving to Nitro FC where he suffered a horrific fire and retired from driving. His younger brother Shane drove SC before piloting the Darien & Meadows A/FD for several seasons.

    For many years he was a co owner of Houston Raceway Park.
