Bill Reichert is one nice guy. He and Gloria have been racing a long time. Heard a rumor from a friend of his that he raced in comp elim. for 17 years without a win. A guy that has talent can't win without money. Along comes Bob Mermus of Bars Leaks and wala! Bill starts coming on strong. If anyone deserves to be champion, it's Bill. His shop is only about 40 miles from mine. He's sold me parts, helped me get started, gave me tuning advise without giving away the secrets, and never attacked us like some other TAD teams who didn't want us in their club. CONGRATS Bill! You earned it. Only regret is that it wasn't in a blown car, but NHRA made that decision for you. I'm the dumb one to stay with the rubber band cars. Luck next year! Bobby Blue 359.

 

A Heartfelt congratulations to Bill & Gloria and their supporting cast members.
They are most deserving of this championship. It has been a pleasure to compete against true sportsmen this year and look forward to seeing them in the other lane next year. Enjoy your winter and Good Luck in 2007.
