    dow 7

had sent my ex shirl greer semi bird/semi buzzard mag hat back to enderle for repolish and dow 7, wasnt very expensive, but dont expect it to come out perfect. there will be darker areas and lighter areas. dont ask me why, but i was surprised that it wasnt a consistant color across the injector. may have been to some areas being coarser in polish, but gives it some color changes anyway. before it was real thin, light and almost flaking off, was pretty old finish when i first got it. good luck.

    Polishing

I have been doing polishing for over 20 years. So if you send me a pic
of your hat, I do not see any reason why it can not be done for $100 w/shipping
included. The reason you see light and dark colors in the alum. is because it is a casting not cut out of block of billiet alum.
    Thank for your time

sorry about that, if it is mag I can still do the same thing for the same price Only differance it is just a little harder to get a good shine.

    PSI hat coatings

Marc: I had Russ Meeks at Finish Line coatings http://www.finishlinecoatings.com/ coat my PSI mag hat and Littlefield mag blower case with a ceramic coating that is made to work on mag. He did a great job on it, and it's been two years, and still looks perfect. Only available in a matte black finish though.

    refinish

The injector restraint covers most of the injector and it doesn't make it any faster. as long as it still is protected spend the money to go faster. or safer. Pretty doesn't win races Well prepared and organized cars & crews do Just my thoughts. . right or wrong. Don

    pro vs crud

some people prefer to look at least the slightest bit professional instead of a swap meet looking mess.
