Condolences to his family and friends. One of the true innovators to the sport, and as Jim said the brothers were a "Bad Ass" team.

    Tribute to Ron Boggs

I'm saddened to hear about the passing of Ron Boggs.

Having originally grown up in Ohio, the Boggs brothers were one of the most popular racing duo in the state. Here are a few photos from the hey day of one of the most popular altered drivers in many people's hearts:

Circa 1975ish. Final round of an AHRA race at dragway 42 in West Salem, Ohio

1977 U.S. Nationals from the 1977 U.S. Nationals Yearbook program section. Qualified 7th in a 32 car field behind Pat Cress, Dave Settles, Brad Anderson, Billy Williams, Ken Veney and number one qualifier Dale Armstrong.

Rest in peace. You will be missed by many.......but never forgotten.
