With the 97% rule I see the quickest run next year being a 5.20 with an A-fuel car and a 5.24 in a Blown car. I think we would see some faster times from the blown contingent but most of the "heavy hitters" have already switched to A-fuel. If this ends up being true then I would say parity would be close enough.

    my thoughts.......

I see a 5.17 zapping from someone, the weather plays a real big role on where and when the quickest run will be at.
Happy Holiday and remember Alky stats are just an e-mail away.

I can still see a teen from one of the big dogs, but the big speed probably just a great memory of the past(277-280mph). Have a great holiday and See you all in February!

Has there be a rule change for the Blown cars that I missed. 5.24 in a blown car would be really something to see as There never has been one in the pasted

    Will,

    I don't understand your top 5.

Are you forgetting the best 3 "home runs" this year? Hirata & Reichert

My prediction of the year: The Hirata camp will be back in National contention.

My Top 5: Reichert, Torrence, Federlin, Thacker, Gallant

It's a known fact that almost every class goes faster every year. So, I would think that a 5.24 would not be out of the question. Shields went a 26 a few year ago. What's the problem?

    conditions

it will take the right car in the right conditions to hit a mid .20 and break shields' 5.26. you only get so many mineshafts in a year....

Switch to A-fuel and 20's are a real possibility.

Funny Stuff Kevin, what do you drive btw.
I remember something about you being pretty darn fast at one point or other, and I think it was in A/Fuel
