thanks for looking at my post.we are putting together a nostalgia funny car with a late model in it of coarse, but being a chevy guy I know nothing about them and dont understand the talk.we already have a KB standard block and manifold and an old set of billit heads with MANZO stamped on them in a few places. but i still have a few questions.
how many differnt stages of heads are made ?
are they all made by Brad Anderson, Allen Johnson?, is there a company named stage?what works with what?what can you still buy?where do you go to buy rockers? thanks Jim Stanke

    Stage V Engineering.
AJPE 's current heads are stage 5. for a Nostalgia FC AJ stage 2 heads are more than sufficent.
I am not current on the BAE fathead fuel stuff.
    BAE 4,5,6's were for alcohal

If it says MANZO it's probably one of the fatheads but which one ? Threes are pretty old and use different stands, rockers etc. Fours and Fives pretty much the same. Great for blown alky or injected nitro but not blown nitro.Brad doesn't give stage or fathead names to his blown nitro stuff. There are 10 bolt intakes with the O ring on the manifold and then on to the 94 and 96 series with the O rings on the head and six bolt intakes. There might even be something newer for the big show stuff. March Meet rumor BAE is going to make a nostalgia nitro head. Did Buckey already have a pair ?
There are at least three different dart fuel heads.
I think the Back in Black used to run AJ heads and always had great mph.
AJ has a nostalgia head if you have the money.
I think there was a Hansen head that some were running
Personally I'm going with the 94 series with titanium and inconel ,stage V rockers, KB stands and shafts etc. Start with alky and hope to move to nitro.
I'm just starting myself and if this is way off I know others will correct me.
