We believe we have the fuel system where we want it on a TAFC. Egt's at stage and through the lights are ideal and plugs look right. We want to start tinkering with the low gear leanout. Where to start? Ours is on a timer.

    Any recommendations?

This is only my opinion, as you do what you thinks best. (nice disclaimer, huh?)
Start with about 2 seconds in the timer, and about a .050" pill. I wouldn't recommend going over a .080" in this pill even when you get comfortable with it. You might end up at 2.1 or 2.2 seconds on the timer eventually.
My experience is with dragsters, and more O/D and less tranny ratio, but I believe it's close.
    Good luck,
    Marty

Thanks, how will this affect the temps at stage versus big end?

set the check poppit between 32 and 37 lbs. (between barrel valve and pump) on this line and you probably won't see a difference at stage and less than 10 degrees on the far end. you will see more temp in low gear, so be safe.
