    shipping weight

A PSI D minus snout in the shipping crate is 148 lbs. It's just light enough to ship UPS, that's why I know.

I have never weighed the crate, but if I had to guess it would be 135 bare. Pulley, snout, quill shaft, etc, I'm sure it's the better part of 150.

    THANK YOU John!

John, THANK YOU for the help! I was hoping to loose a little weight by running a roots blower, but now, not really much weight advantage at all. We are at a cross-roads at some of our local tracks, and if you run good, they outlaw, or say no screw blowers, and what is a racer suppoes to do, SLOW DOWN? THANKS for your help! Jim from TN
PS-plus, when the Screw Blowers get outlawed, the 16 and 18-71s start showing up again too!
