PSI Screw manifold plate design

    On the plate that goes between the screw blower and manifold, I have seen a couple of designs. One wide open with no restrictions, and one that tries to route the flow to the cylinders.

    Which one is best? I really don't want to restrict the flow, but the routing to the cylinders sounds like a good idea.
