PSI D screw sight glass placement

    I have an oder than dirt D screw that has no sight glass. Was thinkin set the center of the sight at the bottom of the 7 oclock snout bolt hole just dont want to screw it up. thanks Craig

    Very impotrant do not overfill if you do you will burn up the gears.Call Roger at PSI and be safe 2 oz. of overfil cost me about 6 g Mike

    not to sound stupid but how does 2 oz of extra oil burn up the gears??

    John I argued the same thing it has to do with expansion I am not the only person to have this happen . Norm Drazy is the one who could explain it the best.

    You want to use a 2 stroke synthetic, or the lightest synthetic you can find. I spoke to PSI about the overfilling and the psynopsis is this; if you overfill the blower it basically turns into an oil pump. With the increased heat you can even destroy the rotors and the case. I'm sure Mr. Drazy could explain it better as Mike stated....I just don't know if any of us could understand it.
