I need some input from all of the ProMod Owners/drivers please. I am building a heavy ProMod which will weigh in at 2500#s with driver, ready to run. It will have a blown hemi and run in the 3.90s if all goes well. I need to order a driveshaft soon, and need to know, stay with the CM shafts I have, or switch to aluminum or go with Carbon Fiber. Will the Carbon Fiber shafts work OK on a heavier car? THANKS for any help! Jim

    Carbon Fiber Drive Shafts.

Jim it will all depend on the RPM you will run, the wieght of the car and lengh of the drive shaft as there is a critical speed/lenght of the drive shaft. I have two PST Carbon Fiber drive shafts (two types of trans I can run) in a heavy street B/A door car with no problems. Give PST Drive Shafts a call there # is 888 575 7888 they will be able to point you in the right direction.
