How is this better than what we have? Lucas funds our TV package on ESPN2 the week after it happens. It's not live, but it's not 8 months down the road either?

The RPM group is funding their own TV package.

Now if it's produced more like a reality series and gets better ratings, then they may be beating us to the punch.

Hopefully we never have to bring our own funding to race or get TV.

    Lucas

Thank you for great support and funding to let all the racers chase their dreams. Lucas Oil has never let the
sportsman racer down with their sponsorship of the Lucas Oil Series, and we hope that they continue to keep
the dreams of all racers alive. M.K.

"The Punch," is a combined effort that resulted in a real increase in exposure for racers and their sponsors. As much as I love reading PSA funded race recaps on the drag racing websites that get visited by hardcore drag race fans, they do absolutely nothing to add to the marketability of the Cars and Class.

Yes, Lucas Oil and NHRA have already given the Alky guys a decent amount of exposure through the ESPN telecasts. But, could it be expanded? Could it be Live or close enough that the internet doesn't defeat the purpose of watching the broadcast? I love dragracecentral.com, but reading their up to the minute results detracts from the intrigue of watching the TV broadcasts. It also
gives ZERO exposure to a racer's sponsors.

Every idea I put up (That quickly seems to get put down) focuses on expanding what is working for TAD/TAFC. Right now, that seems to be the National events with their media support.

What isn't working for TAD/TAFC is the Divisional/Regional events. I understand you're focusing on "fixing a broken system." However, if NHRA and the track operators don't see value, why bother?

What I've done is offered an alternative that benenefits the racing community nationwide. The solution to the problem, when something is broken and has no value, is to replace it with an alternative that better fits the need.

Everything that the Pro Mod group does or gets is because they have people marketing and finding funding (they are self funded), just like Will stated, NHRA and Lucas is footing the bill for the TA classes. overall they don't have it too bad. Could it be better yes it could, but in order to make it better TA classes need a couple marketers to go out and find funding.
