Pro Alcohol Funny Car Association Acquires CIFCA

Oak Hills, Ca-Today the Pro Alcohol Funny Car Association (PAFCA) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the California Independent Funny Car Association (CIFCA). “This an exciting time for cost effective alcohol funny car racing” said Joe Powell, owner of the PAFCA. ‘We are thrilled with the integration of the CIFCA teams into the Pro Alcohol family.” “CIFCA has over 25 years of experience providing a quality motorsports entertainment product to racetracks, sponsors and fans and we intend on continuing that tradition.”

CIFCA will be operating under the Pro Alcohol Funny Car banner in 2010. “We had to weigh out CIFCA’s 25 years of tradition versus rebranding the organization. We believe a new direction and name change better reflects the professional entertainment product that the CIFCA teams provide at every race.”
