Snyder Looking to Score in Brainerd

The Snyder Motorsports Race Team will head to Brainerd, Minnesota for the Lucas Oil Nationals and their second race of four in the month of August. The Team is coming off back-to-back wins on the divisional level and hoping to better their runner-up finish from last year at this event.

“We feel like the car is running well right now. Over the past couple of months we have made quite a few changes. We are still trying to figure out exactly how the car is going to react sometimes. This will be the first time we have the opportunity to see what the new set-up can do on a national event caliber track. Hopefully, we will be able to experience some success here this weekend,” said Snyder.

“Brainerd is one of our favorite events on the circuit. It’s a great track and we have had some success here in the past. The fans here are really unbelievable. Our whole team will be here this weekend and for some it will be their first trip out to the zoo. That is the best thing about our team; it is all friends and family so when the car is put away we have a great time.”

The Division 3 defending champions will square off against a tough field beginning on Friday afternoon at 1:30 and 4:30 PM. There will be one more qualifying shot Saturday at 1 PM in the afternoon and eliminations will begin at 4 PM. Eliminations will continue following the first pro session Sunday.
