    Snyder Advances to Atlanta Quarterfinals

The Mick Snyder driven Top Alcohol Funny Car sponsored by TORCO Race Fuels was in Atlanta this past weekend to participate in the Summit Racing Equipment Southern Nationals.

The Team qualified an impressive #3 at the National Event with a 5.74 at 247.93 mph. Snyder earned the first round win, but was unfortunately ousted in the second round when he slowed to a 5.97 at 226.05 mph.

“We had a really good car this weekend, we just didn’t have any luck in eliminations,” said Snyder. “We are really looking forward to Topeka in a couple of weeks, this car is capable of going rounds it is just a matter of getting everything to come together at the same time.”

The next event for the Team will be in Topeka, Kansas at the O’Reilly NHRA Summer Nationals, May 26-29.

As always, The Snyder Motorsports Team would like to thank our major sponsor TORCO Racing Fuels and our associate sponsors Coan Converters, Design 500, Flatout Gaskets, Lencodrive Racing Transmissions, Long Printing, R & R Racing Products, Snyder Auto and Spitzer Race Cars for their continued support.
