    Steel lines don't flow the same as rubber lines the rubber lines are bigger inside plus they tend to expand under presser, steel lines are safer in case of a fire. 6 of one, half doz.of the other, you can tune it to run the same.;) P/S the best running TA/FC runs rubber.

    In addition to what Gene said, steel lines are more apt to break during tire shake.

    We run rubber port lines and steel hat lines on the Top Fuel car.

    We make our own. If you've ever priced individually custom length hoses, you would too. I have 650 ft on a spool. We bought the fittings from local hose suppliers along with a $150 crimping tool that woks great. Hoses can take 350 psi and work nice. Don't want to get into the hose making business, but with spool off some for you guys and you go get your own fittings and collars and tool.

    Greq since the inside diameter of both the rubber and the stainless steel lines exceed the diameter of the jets being used at the end of each line the flow going into the motor should not change.

    Goodridge port lines

    I hope to have some pictures up on the website soon, but Goodridge's 600 series -3 injector lines combine the best of both worlds! The 600-700 (all of Goodridge's PTFE hoses are lined for that matter) have a teflon inner liner instead of just being a rubber hose that is the norm. The 600 line is also used for brake line, so it is pressure rated well above any psi your fuel pump will put to it. At 3000 psi, expansion is less than .001 of an inch! With the rubber lines you have to worry about the inside of the line coming apart and plugging a nozzle. Due to the teflon inner liner, you can bend the line a lot more without having to worry about kinking.

    Yes, I am a dealer for Goodridge. I wouldn't have jumped on board with them if their product wasn't the best stuff out there.

    Wil;

    I'm not one to tell anyone how to run their affairs, but I can tell you that you lost a sale recently to RBS from me.

    If you had an e-commerce site setup, you would have gotten the sale.

    If you need assistance setting up an e-commerce site without the monthly fee crap, that you can host right from your current web host, let me know. I'm willing to assist.

    website

    All the Goodridge Hoses I sell are custom made to fit. I'm building a website dragracehose.com for the hose sales. Right now an ecommerce site wouldn't be practical, most of my orders will be custom fit. I may consider it at some point if demand for reusable fittings justifies it.

    I don't mind at all losing a sale to RBS. I'm glad I could help send him the business :)

    You'd be surprised with what you can do with e-commerce software that isn't some pay by month deal.

    Custom products aren't a problem.
