Can someone give me a good starting point for hat and port nozzles. I used to run only hat nozzles in my birdcatcher (68's). I have changed to a bigger hat and was trying to change the fuel up some. I have been have some tuning problems and everyone has suggested that maybe I was putting too much fuel to it now. I have 62's in the hat and 52, 54, 56, 60 and 62's in the ports now. It seems to be laying down on the big end.

    Starting Point For Tune-up

Forget about the bigger hat affecting your tune-up. Figure your nozzle area from your previous tune-up and reconfigure your hat and port nozzles to be close to what your original nozzle area was that you were happy with but go on the rich side until you can find the proper stagger for each cylinder. Sounds to me that you are drowning the engine with too much fuel. If you are not a rocket scientist or at least familiar with tuning an injected engine, I would suggest consulting an expert, either calling Enderle for some free advise or paying an expert for some advise. Either way, a well spent phone call. IMHO
