Just got back from Pomona. I would like to congradulate Mitch and crew for making the trip memorable. The 5.11 on Friday night in the dark was a thing of beauty. It is just to bad there were only a few of us in the stands to witness this remarkable run!! The anouncers did not let the people know that there was another qualifing session of TAD right after the TF & TFFC session.
In fact after their last run the fire works went off at the end of the track and most people thought the races for the day was complete. It was totaly dark and about 60 deg. when TAD's ran.
I have been reading the posts concerning parity
and frankly I am sick of this topic. Talked to a couple of NHRA officials and they are too. Both told me if it was up to them they would leave this class alone. I for one am waiting to hear what the new rules will be before ordering new parts or just hanging it up. We are one AFuel car that has struggled to find that 5.30 tuneup with not a lot of success. Just because you have one of these cars is no guarantee you can run the low numbers, unless of course you have the $$$ to hire a tuner or buy a tuneup.
