What is the preferred plug these days for blown alcohol?

Just looking for brand and general part number. Is it still the NGK 6061 type plug?

Do you use the crush washer? I had one guy tell me take-em off, which seemed a bit odd.

Which plugs are easiest to "read" for the tune?

    Thanks.

6061, you just have to make sure you crush the washer good. It seems that if you pre crush the washer that they tend to come loose.

We gap & pre-crush, then install 15°-20° past the click using a T handle plug torque wrench.

What was the reasoning behind taking the washers off?

Crush washers will eventually pinch the top thread in the head and making it hard to thread the plug in or worst cross thread it . I use flat copper washers.

What about the brisk spark plugs? I've heard their easier to get , cheapier. But not sure about reading them
