New to hemi stuff. I've purchased a TFX big bore billet block, bryant 4.14 crank and AJ stage 5 fuel heads. The bore is 4.375 and I'm looking for pistons. Is there anything differrent about the 5's compared with the AJ 2's & 3's? What about pistons for Brad fuel heads, are they interchangeable? Looking for info on the rockers as well. So far all I hear is get the BAE stage 5's.

This is for a 6.30 alcohol altered. thanks

James.....we run a similar combo to yours, just a little longer stroke. i am pretty sure that the piston we use will work with most fuel heads, you just change the rod length for your combo. Brad usually has them on the shelf. i would call and talk to them, and tell them what you are trying to do. you should need a 1.428 compression height piston. the part # i have is for Arias pistons :AA4375FC. hope this helps a little

    Thanks 378

I know I need to get some more info so I can ask better questions. This motor just came out of a big show T/F car. They threw in 1 run fuel rods & nitro pistons also. I'd like to get alky pistons that would work with the rods and pins. We will be going NFC in a year or 2 but want to run the car while we collect all the extra stuff needed for that.

not saying I know everything, but the AJ 5 heads may be too much for a nostalgia deal. I work with both big show and nostalgia and use AJ IIs for the small pump, small blower, points mag deal

First order of business would be alky set up with 1471 hi helix and MSD44, run that for fun while looking towards N/FC down the road. Might never get to the N/FC deal but its a possiblity. 5's may be too big considering the blower and mag limits but I'm pretty sure there are a couple in service.
