Today marks the 65th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Never forget what the brave men & women endured that day and the following years of WWll. Also please remember all the brave men & women who fought, died & who are vets of all the wars we have fought in.

Couldn't agree with you more. Its almost as though they don't appreciate America.

My Mom's dad was in the Marines and in the Pacific in WWII. One of a few thousand to go through the Bataan Death March and one of the hundreds to come out alive after being a POW for 3 years. My Dad's dad was in the Army and in Europe. He was on the beach of Normandy on D-Day, he also survived. My brother is a pilot in the Air Force and has done 1 tour in the last Gulf War and 4 tours in Iraq during this war. I appreciate all they have done for me, as well as all the other veterians, so that I am able to live the way I do.

God bless you all, and thank you.

    War Vets

Wow John, your family seems to be blessed if they all made it out of those horrible incidents. My dad was special forces in Vietnam, and went through a lot. My Uncle was a sniper in Vietnam and came back a bit crazy (or so I hear; I always have known him to be a bit off, but they say he was normal before), he would send my grandma pictures of the people he killed... pretty wierd stuff... I don't understand how people like Fonda can come back and still be a "celebrity" and make successful movies. I personally refused to see her movie on principal and the fact that I didn't want one cent going to her bank account. Besides that, my dad was part of a team looking into her husband (a CA senator if I'm correct) for some less than legal circumstances and knows some pretty disturbing things about Jane herself. Oh well, she will get hers...

    won't forget

God bless the souls of all the brave men and women who have died in the line of duty to defend our country, but on this day, we especially remember those who died on the day that will live in infamy, Dec. 7, 1941.

Here's a salute from one veteran to those who are currently serving, and those who have served before.

A big HOO-AH to the Army men and women overseas!
