Paul Anderson Looking For Final Round Win on Sunday​

Great Bend, Ks. - With a quarter final and semi final finish already credited this season for Top Alcohol Funny Car driver Paul Anderson, he will again pilot the Tigerflow Systems sponsored Camaro of Brad McWilliams this weekend in Great Bend, Kansas. In 2008, Anderson made his way in his family owned car to the final round and is looking to take home the hardware for the Division 5 Lucas Oil Sportsman Series opening drag race.

"It's going to be an interesting weekend" notes Anderson, "Friday's weather conditions are going to be different than the rest of the weekend. Warm temperatures and wind gusts are expected for Saturday and Sunday. Obviously it'll be the same for everyone and since Great Bend is typically not one of the faster tracks out there, we're going to do our best for consistency which is key at this track."

Although the 2009 racing season is just getting underway, Anderson goes into this race in second place within Division 5 as he moves forward in his quest to repeat his 2007 Division 5 Championship effort.

Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car competitors will have one qualifying pass on Friday, at 5 p.m., and two on Saturday, at 2 and 5 p.m. Eliminations begin Sunday morning with Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car running first round at noon.
