part for enderle buzzard

not sure what the part is, but it fits to front of buzzrd and increases/inproves air flow into the hat. anyone know where i can find one?

Don't buy the bellmouth. It will actually hinder airflow. What you need is what PSI does to there hats, a lip that goes all the way around to the back of the opening of the hat. This comes right from Tim Gibson.

 

Can you explain that futher tony? I thought it would help funnel the air into the hat. thanks

 

According to Tim, an injector hat opening will pull air that is completely around it (above, below and behind). The bellmouth upsets the airflow going into the hat. A lip smooths out the airflow going into the hat. A bellmouth looks cool, but that's as far as it goes. I hope this explains it.

Do you have a photo of the lip your talking about? or do you mean the buzzard as it is?

 

All newer PSI hats have this lip. I couldn't find a good pic of one, but if you look at any of the mag PSI hats, especially on the dragsters, you'll see what I mean.

Tony, What's your opinion of offing the mag hat with chicken lips from PSI in favor of the tall carbon fiber one from Jeff Burnett? I spent the $1775 for the mag one, but thinking strong of going for Burnett's unit. He says it will flow a lot more, PSI says he's fooling me. Need some input from other guys who've tried other combinations before I spring $3200 for plastic. Bobby Blue 359.

 

Who knows. If you look at the fast guys, I bet you won't find 2 guys running the same hat. I think when you get down to a gnat's ass is when it makes a difference. Sorry I couldn't offer anymore info.
