denny quike question about the permit needed to bring a trailer into florida thats over 24 feet how do i obtain one and any idea on how much???

Not real sure about that currently.. I know if you do it ahead of time, it's very cheap. If you get caught without it, it's very expensive. Call the Florida D.O.T.
Florida's not nearly as bad as other states..

14-26.008 Schedule of Fees. The following schedule of fees shall be charged by the Florida Department of Transportation for permits for overweight and overdimensional vehicles operating on state maintained roads:


Trailers or Equipment Towed with Ball or Pintle (i.e., Mobile Homes, Modular Buildings, Trailer Chassis, Swimming Pools, Boats, Portable Buildings).
Up to 10 Feet Wide or up to 13 Feet 6 Inches High or up to 80 Feet Long.
$5.00 for 5 day permit - $20.00 for 12 month permit
