...congrats on accomplishing that "goal" you and I talked about. I just got back from Hawaii and could wait to post this.

I was on the Internet in Maui in the office of the scuba/snorkel shop we used and they let me get on line on their computer to see the results from Vegas.

While I was away, I also got phone calls from DT and Marc White who so kindly kept me up to date with daily racing fixes.

News of Mert's accident on the 15 at the top of the Cajon Pass scared the heck out of us, but we were glad to hear that the only damage done can be replaced by the insurance companies and everyone is fine.

It was great to see Clint have such a strong outing. Gotta root for my fellow Oregon racers.

Hey Randy, while on Maui did you check out the dragstrip?

I was there one year on Vac just driving around and I be if I ran into that drag strip. Could you belive they were having a Div 7 race that weekend. Good thing I have a wife that likes racing. Track is below sea level also. And Clint way to go as it is only a matter of time.

I never saw the track, but I did see a 1971 Chevy Vega on an open trailer parked in a gas station with a dial-in shoe polished on the right side of the windshield. You'd need a good track drier over there for those daily sprinkles that seem to pop up.
