Pacific Pro Comp Inviting Competitors for Medford Nitro Summerfest Show August 6

California-based Pacific ProComp will stage its third event of the season at Champion Raceway, in Medford, OR on August 6. If anyone out on the left coast would like to join us you are certainly welcome. This class is made up of blown alcohol dragsters, nostalgia cars, funny cars, nitrous cars, etc. anything that's fast!

It's heads up racing with a 6.60 index, an all run field and it pays all the way down to the first round and you don't have to pre-join the association to compete. If you're barely in the 6's or hovering around the low 7's come race with us anyway. There will be a test session on Friday, qualifying begins at 3 PM on Saturday with eliminations starting at 7 PM Saturday night. Send me a private message and I'll gladly get you hooked up or answer any question you might have.

Besides the PPC Blown Alcohol cars there will be a pair of nitro funny cars and Ed the Outlaw Jones.

 

Medford

Count the Stroupe team in, We will be there for the test and tune friday night and the race Saturday, This is a great class and a even better group of racers, and is the only class I know of, if both racers agree they can remove the index for the final round and run as fast as you want to!!!! Jim at the track bends over backwords to make sure the racers are happy and have what they need to run well. you should see how much time and money this guy spends on preping the track, it will pull your shoes off all the way to 1320 feet!!!

Next Year

Would be really neat if they extended the invite to more than two nitro funny cars for next year. I know we'd love to bring the Team Ace Racing Nitro Funny Car down for a cool match race with 6 or 8 cars.

 

Pacific Pro Comp welcomes "all" racers of any type and any fuel. That means your nitro funny car is welcome.
