    Hi All,

Open Outlaw has been heads up class at bigger reaces for quite a few years at Bradenton Motorsports Park. The car counts last year were disappointing except for the Snowbird Nationals. We decided that we had to do something to renew interest in the class and bring back the car counts.

We worked with BMP and Sunshine Dragstrip to bring 10 races to the Central Florida tracks and created a points series. We started a new website http://www.openoutlaw.com to give us a focal point.

For those of you that aren't familiar with the class, it's basically Blown or injected Altereds, F/C and Dragsters. Rear Engine dragsters must run a converter. The Sunshine events are 1/8th mile and the Bradenton races are 1/4mi. ET's are generally 4.00 to 4.50 in the 1/8th and 6.0 to 6.50 in the 1/4.

If you are looking for great event to attend and want to run heads up, check us out. We have contact info, pics and videos on the site. Drop in and say hello.

    Troy G.

    Open Outlaw's

    Troy is correct!

This is a group of true ""Open Outlaw" racers and they are "BAD"!

Anyone that can hang with this bunch in the 1/8th will certainly earn their way to the "free beer line"! :)

Converters are only required in dragsters. Altereds and FCs can run clutches. About the only other rule is no screw blowers. Roots blowers are limited to 14-71.

I don't think I'd tow from Cincy just for this!

The Sunshine payout this weekend for an 8 car field in Open Outlaw is:

    $1200 Win
    $500 RU
    $300 Semis
    $100 1st round

    For Bradenton Dec 4-6:

    TAD pays (8 car field)
    $5000 Win
    $1500 RU
    $750 Semis
    $500 1st round

Open Outlaw pays (16 car field)
    $2500 Win
    $800 RU
    $400 Semis
    $250 Quarters
    $150 1st round
