On board cameras

    I use one of these:

    It's pretty good. Slow motion isn't that great, though. I'm looking for a new one and that Replay looks nice and small. Make sure you get one that shoots 60 frames per second. That should help with the slow mo. That's the reason I'm going to get a new one is mine is older and only shoots 30 fps. Also, I don't ever record in 1080. Maybe it's just me, but my computer screen doesn't fit that format as well.

    Thanks for your real life input, I was wondering how many FPS I would be happy with when it came to slow motion while at what resolution 1080, 960 or 720.

    I have used several over the last few years for broadcast and the new Replay is the nicest by far. As far as mounts go, they are the best for motorsports aplacations. I don't think you could go wrong
