I just made one for my boat and it is pretty cool.Instead of having a filter on top i welded in a pipe going in to it to vent from the bottom.Hard to explain but,it works well.

Buddy of mine just made me a pair of tanks...

3" OD by 8" tall. 1.25" side inlet/top outlet with a downward slanted baffle on the inside. Single 3/8" female stand off to mount it to a chassis tab.

Topped it off with a pair of chrome shielded K&N filters. Hooked them into my Wizard castings that bolt to the valve covers. Work well so far.
