What brand of oil today do people recommend or not recommend with an injected alcohol motor?

We have always ran the Castrol 4 cycle 70 wt and have never had any problems. The stuff is really hard to break down.

    oil

depending on how hard you push it....

in a top alcohol application, i recommend valvoline's NON STREET LEGAL 50 wt. it has alot of the additives that the epa made them take out of the street legal stuff - the zinc and phosphorus.

i've also heard good things about red line oil. royal purple also makes a good synthetic. i believe both of those oils have all the additives.

if you're not turning the wick up, valvoline's regular vr1 racing oil should be fine. lucas, kendall, brad penn and pennzoil racing oil all have been used with alcohol motors.

other than red line or royal purple, i would stay away from other synthetics. alot of synthetics don't blend well with the fuel polution.

paging cam evans...he's alot smarter than me on this :D
