We installed comp offset lifters in our kb526 veney heads to get better angels on the intake pushrods and so we could shims the rockers sideways to get them to center correct on the retainer locks.
Under the fifth run widh this set up we broked 2 link bars and 2 intake lifters were messed up badly . Also noticed a small crack in one of the other link bars.

Put back the old lifters and everything seams to work OK again, so is there any other solution to fix the geometri on my intake pushrods and intake rockers?

    Lifters

I would call Noel Manton- he is a sponsor on this site and a very very sharp guy. Or you could try Chase at Crane Cams. Dave Germain

Ok thanks for the answer, will try that later on, right now i will run it widh last years setup a few more events. Dont have the time and money to make some big changes direct, had to buy a new converter and big repairs on the procharger geardrive after last event.

Anyway is there anyone who have ad good luck widh offset lifters?

No! I used to run offset lifters but was breaking them constantly. I called John Partridge with Bullet Cams and he told me he didnt care what brand or what size offset lifter I ran in it that no matter what I would continue to break them unless I was willing to change them about every 25 runs. He said the offset sideloads the lifter bad enough but to add boost to the equation is a death sentence for them. I switched to center lifters and knock on wood I havent had a problem since.
