What is the best software for building high end web sites? (high end...ie. store, music on intro flashing stuff etc...)

Kev, probably for overall performance, Macromedia which includes Dream Weaver, Flash and Fireworks.
Can we expect you at Mission in May.

Kevin, it depends on what programming languages you know, or, are willing to learn. You can get software that have canned templates, but, you will have to sacrifice customization.

My preference is .NET framework, specifically C#, you can do some awesome stuff. Flash is just an embedded object, you can use NotePad for embedding. Music can be handled the same way.

Make sure your site has plenty of bandwidth and is Flash and streaming media enabled. If you go with .NET, the web host must have the .NET framework employed.

Goodluck and contact me know if you need help.
