    if you see any spam over the next few days, use the soft delete function rather than physically delete.

    we're trying to diagnose any new spam. we think we've stopped the program from registering new users, but we don't know how long it can use names it's already registered under.

    Will you can ban email addresses also another thing you can do is have all registrations approved by the admin. When you see a email addy that looks funny delete it.

    That's what I had to start doing on one of the sites that I run. They can register, but they can't post.

    so far so good

    it looks like we might have them licked for the time being. i haven't seen any stupid names register or spam. we'll keep our fingers crossed.
