    This note from the Division 3 Offices;

    Unfortunately once again we are looking at a less than desirable weather forecast for the weekend, however we are hopeful that we'll have more periods of dry than wet. As much effort as any national event, if not more, has been put into promoting the event this weekend by the Summit Motorsports Park staff. The track has expanded staffing to open gates early and has extended the gate hours around the clock Thursday evening to help alleviate entry build up and parking. Additionally, we are attempting to make arrangements for additional jet track dryers and equipment to help in expediting any track drying.

    Please share the news with other racers. We hope to have another great weekend at the B'Laster Cavalcade of Stars and hope to see you there.

    NHRA reply

    When I suggested Earleville's dryer, Jay responded with;

    We have three (3) jet dryers, 3 Buffalo Turbine blowers, tractor brush and an army of people. Having all of that is generally a good sign that it then won't rain.
