NMR Makes the Sports Page

Sorry if this is a shameless plug you guys, but in reality, this is great for Drag Racing over all. There is a lot of world out there that doesn't know we exist, so I'm trying to promote all of us and what we do. I hope all you guys listed answer your phones when they call so that we can ALL Be included. (sorry, I couldn't get everyone, I tried a lot of names though) LOL

The interview and pictures are done for a Feature Article in the Austin Statesmen Newspaper. The release date will either be a week from Sunday or the week following (I'll announce that date upon receipt).
Included in the article will be blubs from some of the following drivers: (depending on who answers the phone LOL)
Lou Gasparrelli, Jackie Stidham, Ron Morrison, Jimmy Jones and Lee Callaway.
It was a lot of fun and we spent a lot of time going through many aspects of what we do as an owner & driver of a competitive Top Alcohol Funny Car from feeding the crew to what it takes to get to the track and even some of the mishaps that leave you laughing on the way to the track that we can All relate with at one time or another. The Editor got a real kick out of the Davenport program and how exclusive development to racing our stuff really is.
The Statesmen is distribution to over 1 Million people and even more on line.
So stay tuned, could be fun reading. I'll attach a link when it's published.

Thanks you guys, I'll post the link when it's done. Since the car is all apart, the pictures don't have the motor, so should be fun to see who notices no hat or headers

But they took all the shots in front of a tree line, so I'm sure the photographer got a few good ones in there.

Hi Everyone, just an update, the article is going to run this Friday in the sports page, I'll post the link when I have it and or it will be on my MySpace.com/nancymatterracing page.

I haven't read it yet, but he interviewed Jimmy Jones and Jackie Stidham within the article as well so should be good and fun.

(and don't mind the headers missing in the pictures, we're fixing all the carnage from December's trip to Gainesville still)

okay, next time this I post on this, it will be the link to the story, I promise. Apparently, the Sr Editor wants to put more pictures in the article than originally planned, so it's going to take a few more days before publication. (which we think is a positive, so we can wait a couple more days)
