NHRA giving top alcohol cars the shaft?

    From what I can tell, it looks like NHRA has taken a couple of spots away from the top alcohol cars at national events.

    For example- Joliet- only 22 entries allowed, at one of the biggest top alcohol races of the year? What the he** is that?

    Pomona- 24 cars; Indy 26. I think last year they were allowed 26 and 28 respectively.

    Anyone have thoughts on this?

    if you finished 3 to 10 (bronze card) in your division - can you be denied entry into a national event?

    Bronze only goes to 9th, but my understanding is no.

    Wolfgang , I have deleted my post that you think were hi-jacking your thread . I was only trying to show a similar situation going on in another sanctioning body that is trying to reduce entries at nat'l events . I was not aware that 2 sanctioning bodies could not be mentioned in one of your threads .
