NHRA audiocast

Did anyone happen to listen to the audio cast during first round of funny car? Jack Beckman made a comment over the pa when Allen Reinhart was interviewing him. Jack said I hope every one stayed up late enough to catch the qualifying show after the extra longggggggggggggggg football game! That is bad when the racers start saying bad s--t about ESPN.

The NHRA coverage on the net and TV, SUCKS big time!!!!
I think and hope the Nostalgia groups have a much better show.
And this may the way of the future of my sport.
The sportsman racers are the ones that started them and the
fuel guys put on the big show.
Now it is all the hipe of the big show that very few of us can
compete in.
I can make just about as much noise and put on a good show
with a Nostalgia car as the big $$$ teams with there big show...
The only people that can race in the NHRA/Pro category are the
ones with cubic dollars...
It is no longer a fun sport that the hole family can do on any
weekend, it is now all $$$$.
