NHRA Advisory Committee

The implementation of NHRA's new advisory committee sounds great. I hope it has teeth to adjust rules.
One of the groups is for TA. Now, maybe, an equitable formula can be worked out for BADs and A/Foolers.
Finally something positive this year! JMHO

Hey Nitroclovers! Never believe that NHRA will improve anything with a committee. Isn't a camel supposed to be a horse designed by committee? We've been riding this camel for 5 years and it hasn't taken us out of the desert of despair. Don't cry thank god forour salvation, like anything else NHRA does it may turn out to be OH! Woe is us! Lets wait and see if they'll fix it or just make it worse. I hereby challenge NHRA to fix it and make it better. Are you listening? Is anybody there? Can you hear me? See, told you: nobody is home.

 

Bobby, I agree not cheer too loud yet. My thinking, and I shouldn't have, is that the committee would be made up of TA racers. WHAT was I thinking???

Actually, there is already something like this in place in D-7. One of my friends is one of the reps for S/C.

Him & I haven't spoken about it in a long time, but he told me about this maybe 8 months or so ago.

 

Maybe, in TAD we could see 100% and C-type? That would be equal right?
I'm always an optimist. With a good committee TAD might see a racer based rational attempt at parity.

Hi Lee, the Kosky's are sending me the T.A.R.A. information which is specifically designed for the alky class. Don't know what's in it and how much needs to be changed / updated.

Seems like maybe this NHRA Advisory committee may be kind of with the same thought process of what I was already thinking, power in numbers, not just 1 class representation.

Not sure, I guess we'll find out as more announcements are made.
