He made my 5.53 look pretty bad. That was pretty exciting to just be the guy in the other lane on such a fantastic run.

That was a really good video of the run in the night like that.

i also have a vid of this, but cant seem to download it from camera to pc. i was in right grandstand at starting line. any ideas?

 

other than big money what does it take to run that parts wise

 

What kind of camera is it? If you have an error I can point you to some recovery software....it's always worth waiting out there in the cold at Pomona after the fuel cars for something cool to happen isn't it?

i love the alky cars (i have a fc) and always stay to watch them with a dozen or so of my friends in the stands! a few moments like whiteleys crash a few years ago, and of course every time manzo resets natl records there, a few years ago a 5.1? by a injected nitro car. those are some cool moments for sure. plus, when all the security goes home, i grab a broom and head for the starting line and nobody even stops me! just kidding. i have videos taken with a 8mm tape, and i have machines i can make dvd and vhs from it, but cant seem to get pc to download dvd to a resendable format. im sure using the dvd is the easiest, but havent figured out how to use movie maker to break it up into sendable pieces. any ideas?

 

If you can get the DVD or VHS to a .mpg, .mpeg, .avi or .mp4, you can use winRAR to break it up into 100MB pieces. Youtube will take videos up to 2GB, but if you want to reduce the size of the video, get a free download of a program called Handbrake (handbrake.fr i think is the website). It's a little complex at first, but very good at keeping quality while reducing file size...I can walk you through it if you want. Hope that helps.
