A rep from ACME Race Products just sent me this.

They have a complete line of products designed specifically for blown alcohol dragsters to help beat those dag gum a/fuelers. Designed and tested by Wylie Coyote and tested at a secret location in the Texas Panhandle bad lands.

    Products include:
    1. ACME Rocket Boosters. Just bolt these puppies on the wing struts, worth about a tenth apeice.

    2. ACME Explosive Nitro. Looks and smells just like nitro, will make their engine blow up.

    3. ACME TNT. Tried and true product. Just have your crewman place this in their lane about half track. Have the crewman push the detonation handle just when they drive over it. They won't win or make the next round.....

    4. ACME Thermo Kit. This revolutionary new product will make the ambient air temperature in their lane rise to 86 degrees. You know what happens then...

    5. ACME Super Stick 'um. Slip this in the NHRA Tractor when he sprays their lane; the car wont leave the line.

    6. ACME Flash Bomb. Used by military units, this flash bomb will emit a bright flash of light, blinding the unsuspecting A/Fuel driver temporarily. Just wear the special ACME helmet shield, and you'll be on your way to the next round.

The rep went on to say more products will be on the way once Wylie recovers from a testing accident...

Also, parts are available to BADASS (Blown Alcohol Dragster Association for Supercharged Supremecy) members only. AFRO members not only can't access these parts, but should think more about going fishing... :D

more news on this breaking story as we get it.

in other news, while testing his new AOL high speed unit, Jason Cannon received no time on any of his runs. NHRA is currently working with Bob Brockmeyer at Compulink to get the system to record times that quick....

    Mr Hanna:
Does the ACME co. garantee better results than that poor coyote? Has Wile C. endorsed this stuff yet?

    Really Will,
You know I want to win, so I'll go along with the rockets and TNT, but 86 degrees. I'm suprised at you. LOL

    Hey Nitrohawk.
I'll take you fishing for lake trout but we'll have to wait till spring because my favorite lure make's ice fishing a little dangerous. One or two blasts really takes the stability of the ice pack.

Hopefully we will have a couple switch hitters try and bring the R's up when staging.

    I'll clap.

I'll never forget the Houston fall race in 98. Darien was helping Hitchman with his brand new A/Fuel ride. Hitchman pre-staged and blipped the throttle, and then realized what the hell was running behind him.
After the run, Darien came walking back to the roped off area just shaking his head, and mummbling something about not being able to teach an old dogs new tricks.

It was one of the few times I have actually seen Brad laugh out loud.
