New A/Fuel team making gains

Larry Clary Racing with Brad McBride driving has been making very good gains on A/fuel. The first race of year for the team was Gainsville. They came out with a .5.36 run which fell.009 short of a fast feild for 8 cars.
Next race was Charlotte 4 wide team had a strong Q1. A stuck throttle had them out in 1st round with a fried clutch.
The next race for the team was in Norwalk Ohio. They fired off a great 5.31 which was number1 for 1st round on track most thought sketchy. They skipped rest oif qualifing to save parts. Ened up 5th. A clutch issue had them smoking tires twice in 1st round loss.
Next was Charlotte's fall race. They fired off a quick 5.25 at 267 a team best. A first roiund win over Alan Bradshaw with a 5.32 gave the team their first-round victory. The 2nd win would be the next round. With a win over red lighting Megan Smith with a 5,28. Unfortunately, the team's first semi-finals came with a very close loss to Salinas 5.34 to 5.30.
With this being only their 6th race with A/fuel they are making big steps and are in middle of the fight with the new combonation.
