    Tommy Payne the Owner and Crew Chief of the Alcohol Funny Car Crazy Horse, fell last night while loading the car and new body and broke his hip. He is in the hospital in Huntsville, Al. They were trying to find a doctor to do emergency surgery last night. I haven't heard from anyone this morning to see if that happened or not. Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers. Will update when I hear more.

    They took Tommy into surgery around 12:30 Central. Will update.

    All of us at Team Outcast will be praying not only to get better but also for the tuff road of physical therapy. Family and crew as well.

    Tommy's surgery went fine. The doctor said he should be able to go home by Sunday. He will be off his feet for about 3 months. Thanks to everyone for your replies.

    Tommy got home last night. He is doing fine, and plans are still on to be at Gateway for the Div 3 race. Thanks for your thoughts & prayers.

    great to hear...

    good to hear...we'll see you in st. louis...

    looks like it's going to be a tough field...i'm sure there will be a lot of out of div cars there.
