i need to add air launcher to dragster and would like some suggestions on how to build chute bracket. email pics please to caseyspradlin(AT)bellsouth.net. all dragsters seem to mount chute from middle of chute pack so need ideas on how to make a bracket that holds chute around edges but is sturdy enough to withstand tire shake.

    thanks for your help

    chute launcher

WOW How fast are you running? I would call a chassis builder McKinney/ Uhara /Precision / Pro Start / or Mondon. He supports this site. Don

    chute metal

they are chute metal. new springs. chutes work fine if they come out. usually the cable will catch the pilot and hang or the spring will just not push the bag open?? Want to put some boost on it ;) have same problem with my TS also which is stroud.

Make sure that the internal cable completely retracts into the outer sheath when used, I also used heat shrink tubing to close the end and neaten it up. On the TS car you will probably need launchers to get them out in the air stream.
