Need Info on Kuhl Superchargers

I have a 14-71 Kuhl Supercharger Standard Helix. The blower appears to be pretty much brand new, it is set up for alcohol / nitro.

I have several questions... First, there is no plug for putting oil in the gear drive... How do you add / check oil, and how often do you need to change oil in the blower... Second is what kind of boost do these things make. I am going to be driving it 20% over on a 496"BBC.

Any opinions or info would be great.

You put oil in from the snout. Boost really depends on alot of factors. But try calling Jr @ RBS .For any questions. Don

 

The last few blowers out of that shop self distructed. Wise money would have that thing checked out totally. Don't ask me how I know this.

 

It is funny you should mention that these blowers self destructe, we had a high helix 14-71 that the case totally destructed on. Not totally sure if it was the blower though, we were recieving and paying for some pretty bad tuning advice at the time!

 

The guys' name was Kevin' I think.

The name Kevin and Kuhl leaves a bad taste in my mouth as i was one
of his last "customers" that payed for a blower and never received one.

But after all it looks like i`am a lucky guy.
No Kuhl blower - no shrapnells sticking somewhere in my body.
