should be sone small hex headed screws in the front of the case near the input shaft or just holes,
if the screws are there remove them and use a small punch to knock out the outer race from the case,
the inner race can usualy be removed from the drum using a decent pry bar and will be easier with some heat, iv even done it grippung the inner race in a vice with soft jaws and knocking the drum out of the race,
    hope this helps

    Bearings

Roger Bateman showed me a trick to those bearings. He said turning the case upside down and leaving it in the sun will heat the case enough to where the bearing will fall right out. I cheat that a little by using an electric heat gun and heat the case. In ten minutes or so the bearing and ring gear will fall right out. Dave Germain

    Thanks for the help
We heated up the case and used a small punch to knock the drum out but the bearing came apart The inner race is still in the drum and the outer race is in the case.
I guess we are off to our lenco dealer for a new bearing

if its like a cs2 you dont need a new bearing . put white builders grease on the bearings in the inner race and istall the hub back in the case on the outter race and use a 2x4 in the inner hub and smack it it will go back in the outter race we do it all the time never have taken out the race. if you have any ? call me i will talk you through it 217-841-2843 ask for Doc:cool:................................ the bearing is made to come apart this way .

    Bearing

I've had the bearing come apart lots of times. Just round up all the little balls and put it back together. Doable but sucks when you are in a hurry. You don't have to warm the case up a ton. Just a heat gun or the sun on it will do it and the bearing and drum (ring gear) will fall right out with the bearing intact. In the past if i knocked the drum out with a hammer it did seperate the two races of the bearing leaving me to do the little ball bearing roundup. Dave Germain

    Thanks again
WE figured it out this morning when we got both races off using heat gun and CO2
We are still learning about the lenco
We used some grease to hold the balls and put the bearing back together and reinstalled into the maincase
Again thanks for your help. This site is the greatest
