nastalga racers

just wondering if anyone is as bumbed as i am about the new helmet rule " no more open face helmets " I no the are a little dangerous but a blown injected front engine dragster just looses alot of nastalga with out a breether mask and goggles . I no rules are rules and it will be safer just not as fun for me . any thoughts?

 

You will need to check with the XHRAs to be sure, but I believe the breather mask and open face helmets are still legal for FEDs.

Hey guys check out the Nitro helmets that Impact Racing has. That's the new Bill Simpson owned Company. They look really cool like the old open face with the mask look to it but is 1000 times safer than the old ones. Ask Dale Ernhart how he still like the open face helmets, oh that right I gusse we can do that now can we?
Step up and go with the new technology and everyone will love it, because they will still beable to see you, after you wear it. Did you see Tony P. face after the big boom in Pomona? His face looked just fine to me and the first words out of his mouth were "I going to give Bill Simposon a call and thank him".
